The ASET Foundation supports educational initiatives, programs, and special projects designed to advance and support excellence in quality patient care by providing resources to electroneurodiagnostic students and professionals to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills in the field. Your donations will make a difference in our ability to expand educational and scholarship opportunities and to support special projects or activities for the profession.
The ASET Foundation is classified under the Internal Revenue Service Code as a 501(c)3 public charity. All donations and contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible from your income in the year they are donated. Emphasis from all proceeds from the Foundation’s fundraising activities – and General Fund contributions – is placed on the ASET Scholarship Fund, END Curriculum Development Fund, and general operating costs, followed by supplemental funding of the Foundation’s named funds.
HOW YOU CAN GIVE
A Gift Today. Donations may be made by fax, mail or e-mail request. You can deduct cash gifts from your income in the year they are donated. Stocks and other securities are another option and can result in additional tax savings. Any gift - large or small - is deeply appreciated. Arrangements can be made for payments relating to your donation.
Donations and contributions are often given as memorial gifts to honor those who are memorable to you and to express condolences to their families. You may also choose to give a tribute gift to celebrate special events in the lives of colleagues, patients, families and friends.
A Gift Tomorrow. Gifts in your will or a living trust allow you to leave a legacy to the END profession. These gifts reduce the donor's estate and could help reduce estate taxes. Through provisions in a will, for example, you can create an endowment to fund a specific ASET Foundation program in perpetuity. Significant tax advantages can be realized through planned gifts.
In addition, you may name the ASET Foundation as the beneficiary of your retirement plan. You will retain the income benefits during your lifetime, and after your death, then ASET benefits according to your wishes and your estate receives income and estate tax reduction. For more information on planned gifts, contact the ASET Foundation Executive Director.
